"In the past, I have dealt with what some may consider 'extreme' bullying. It lead to a great many years of intense mistrust of the people around me, and I truly believed that everyone was 'out to get me' behind the kindness that I thought was fake. I had never experienced a relationship that wasn't incredibly conditional. In times much more recently, I have come to learn that there are people I can trust in the world; and I haven't really dealt with bullying in years. This is my song for those of you who are still going through that plight. I want you to know that only some of the people in the world are 'wolves', who are 'out to get you'. To find kindness, you just have to find the right people who will love you no matter what. Search for them; and don't be afraid to open your heart to them." |
