This is a guideline policy for producer pages featured on the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki. Please use this guideline if you want to create a new producer page. To make a producer page, CoolMikeHatsune22's producer page generator (older version can be found here) can be used for faster editing.
NOTICE: Producer is a collective term for Author, Creator, VocaP, Composer, Lyricist, Voice Manipulator/Tuner, Engineer, Illustrator, and Circle (group). These terms are used throughout this wiki.
NOTICE: If a producer has been arrested for violence, including sexual violence, their works are not permitted on the wiki.

Producer page naming[]
Every producer page will use the real name or alias of said producer, with some exceptions given.
- Non-English names are to be romanized into the Latin alphabet.
- If a producer is known by a set of numbers, such as 119, or symbols such as △○□×, then that is the designated title (if the FANDOM system is able to render it).
- Any aliases will be redirected to that page title and pronunciations will be rendered within the article.
- {{DISPLAYTITLE:}} can always be used for impossible cases.
Redirect names[]
For the convenience of people using the search bar or linking to a song page from a another page, it's recommended that you create a redirect.

Producer category[]
The main producer category page should link to the producer page. This is done by adding the title of the producer page as the second parameter to the {{producer}} template.
For example, for the producer Hachi, the following template is used on the category page Category:Hachi songs list:

Producer box[]
Every producer page will use the <div class="producer-links">, css style box. The set-up is the following and must be in this order:
[[File:Filoyo.jpg]]- The file name of an image to display.
producer categories- A navigation guide for the producer's main category and sub-categories on the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki.
- {{ProdLinks|<PRODUCER MAIN CATEGORY NAME>}} is used to create this navigation automatically.
- For example, for the producer page Hachi, {{ProdLinks|<Hachi>}} is used to link to Category:Hachi songs list and its sub-categories.
- For the producer page River (producer), {{ProdLinks|<River>}} is used to link to Category:River songs list and its sub-categories.
labels / affiliations- A list of groups, persons or labels the producer is affiliated with.
external links- Has three sub-sections:
- Official links to the producer's website/social media
- Official links to music/media sharing platforms on which the producer is on, e.g. Niconico, YouTube, bilibili, piapro, etc.
- Unofficial links to information sources/databases/wikis, e.g. Vocaloid Database, Hatsune Miku Wiki.
The {{Links}} template is used to link to the Hatsune Miku Wiki, UTAU Song Database, Moegirlpedia and Vocaloid Database. Refer to Template:Links/doc to read more about this template.

The following template can be used to fill out a producer page's description:
"[PRODUCER] is a [NATIONALITY] [TYPE OF PRODUCER] who debuted in [YEAR]."
More information (about genre, type of vocal synthesizer used, etc.) can be added later, but this basic information is all that is necessary.
Remember to be objective and unbiased; don't place personal opinions within the article. The comment section is available for such opinions.

Every circle page should have a listing of producers using *[[This Format]].
Works[]
The {{pwt row|<Article_name>}} template (or {{pht row|<Article_name>}}, placeholder) will display any previous or future works in relation to a song.
This is enclosed by class="sortable producer-table" with {{pwt head}}.
Songs can be entered into the works table in any order.
If a producer is known to use multiple aliases, e.g. Hachiouji-P whose handle may also be romanized as "Hachioji-P", "HachioujiP", etc., or Abu-Se-Ken who used to be known as "Abuse" or "Hataken", use {{pwt alias}} to get the {{pwt row}} template to search for these additional aliases.

Albums[]
The {{awt row|<Article_name>}} template will display any previous or future albums in relation to a song.
This is enclosed by class="sortable producer-table" with {{awt head}}.

If there are needs to cite sources or minor trivia within the background section then create a reference.

Organization[]
__NOTOC__- This magic word suppresses the appearance of the page's Table of Contents. This is placed at the bottom of the page.
Category[]
[[Category:Producer]]- Is the default category for all producer pages, minus circles (groups) which is categorized into
[[Category:Circle]]. [[Category:ROLE_]]- Specifies the roles/professions the producer is known for
- For example:
- If the producer composes their own songs, regardless of whether or not they write the lyrics to those songs,
[[Category:Composers]]should be tagged into the page. - If the producer is known to create illustrations for other producers, or they are known to draw their own PVs,
[[Category:Illustrators]]may be tagged into the page. - If the producer typically write their own lyrics, or they are known to write lyrics to other producers' songs,
[[Category:Lyricists]]may be tagged into the page.
- If the producer composes their own songs, regardless of whether or not they write the lyrics to those songs,
- For a list of all producer roles refer to Producer Navigation.
[[Category:LANGUAGE_here original producers]]- The language of songs the producer is known to write in. e.g. Category:Japanese original producers.
- For a list of all producer language sub-categories refer to Producers by language.
[[Category:Producer using VOCAL SYNTH_]]- This is to sort a producer page based on the vocal synth engine, e.g. VOCALOID, CeVIO, UTAU, they are known to have used.
- For a list of all producer sub-categories by vocal synth refer to Producers by Vocal Synthesizer.
