Archiving old talk page contentEdit

  1. Make a new page called Talk:USER NAME/Archive 1 (so in your case Talk:ElectricRaichu/Archive 1).
  2. Copy-paste this message on top of the new page:
'''This is an archive of past discussions. Please do not edit the content of this page. If you wish to start a new discussion or revive an old one, please do so on [[User_talk:USER NAME|my current talk page]].'''

You can also write your own, but I prefer to just copy-paste it.
  3. Cut and paste the content from your talk page that you want removed into the new page.
  4. Put a link to the archive page on top of your talk page. I personally use this layout:
    <span class="toccolours" style="display:inline-block; margin:auto; font-size:115%; font-weight:bold; float:right;">Past conversations: [[Talk:USER NAME/Archive_1|1]]</span>.
  5. Publish both pages

If you use source mode here's an explanation on how to add a tabber. A quick summary of the code would be:

Wolf/HoneyWorks TranslationEdit

I think Damesukekun's old translation is a bit off now that I see it. I thought a new translation would come in handy, because that song has a very dark atmosphere. I'd like you to check my translation , and reply with any mistakes you've found, and if very bad, revert it with the previous one.

Overall the new translation sounds better, but I think the old one is more accurate in a few places. I'll need to take a closer look. ElectricRaichu (talk) 23:24, January 30, 2020 (UTC)

New TemplatesEdit

This will be quite a long message, so please take all the time you need to read it. I don't mind waiting for an answer.

After implementing the date template I've been thinking about some other templates I'd like to add to the wiki. Most of them should be easy to add using a bot (so editors won't have to go over all pages and modify them). I'd like to know what you think before asking our contributors about it.

The first template I made is the translator template, which is basically the translation credits we normally have in template form. It has the added benefit of adding a tracking category with the name of the translator, so if we implement it we'll have lists of all translations by a certain translator on this wiki.

The second template I made is the prod template, which can be used in producer categories and allows you to make them more easily. I wrote an explanation of how it works in my sandbox. It allows you to add basic things like names, where the producer uploads, and album categories in a more efficient manner than typing it all up would. It also automatically adds the "Producers" category to the category it is used on. I thought this was a better category name than "Producer Song Lists" (plus it allows me to see if any producer categories were skipped), but of course if we decide to implement this template and you disagree with the name I can just change it.

I've also been thinking of a way to add categories for producers who did not work on music but did contribute to songs in another way, and the best thing I've come up with up until now is subcategories (like the albums subcategories we're using now). For example, CrystalP has worked on the lyrics for multiple songs, so you could just add a subcategory called "Crystal-P songs list/Lyrics" and add it to the relevant pages. You could also just make a category called "Crystal-P songs list/Other" for songs where he worked on something else, to make it easier. I've added this template which could be used in such subcategories. It's not finished and I'm not very happy with it yet. The only problem with implementing this is that it's impossible to automate, due to the many different roles and different names that producers use. That means that if we were to implement it we either have to make it non-mandatory so not all pages need to be changed, or we would have to eventually go over all pages and correct them. While this is a lot of work, I do think it's worthwhile to at least consider it.

That's all. Please take all the time you need to answer this message. I don't want to implement too many changes in a short period of time so I won't make a forum thread until late June at the earliest. Thank you for reading this message! Amandelen (talk) 09:55, May 31, 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right that more (especially intricate) templates can make editing hard for new users. I didn't really think of that when making the Prod template. I've simplified it so it only allows you to add the name, possible alias(es), and a specification whether it's a group/duo if necessary. I also removed two of the three "x =" requirements for the template which hopefully makes it a bit easier to use. I couldn't really remove the one where you specify whether it's a group or not, because the template won't be able to handle exceptions if I do (the template would not work in categories where a producer group does not have an alias).
We could maybe make a few select groups of subcategories to avoid making things too complicated. For example: lyrics, tuning, arrangement, visuals (e.g. illustrators, video, etc.), other (e.g. mixing, mastering, instruments). That way we have only a few subcategories and things don't get too complicated (hopefully). I like the idea of editing old pages gradually and making it mandatory for new pages. I personally think that if a producer already worked on the music for a song their subcategories should not have to be added. I don't really mind it if we add the subcategory to those pages as well, though. Whatever contributors find easier to work with. Amandelen (talk) 09:09, June 1, 2020 (UTC)
Sure! I'll move the template. Amandelen (talk) 09:13, June 2, 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for the feedback! I figured out a way to automatically extract the name from the category, so I've removed the "primary name" part of the template description. I'm thinking of changing the same thing in the ProdAlbums template as well. The "group =" part was present in the syntax in the code itself, but it didn't show up for some reason but I fixed that now. Amandelen (talk) 08:59, June 3, 2020 (UTC)

I've looked into the ProdAlbums template and it'll only work if go over all templates already present and change them to remove the producer name. I can do that once the announcement about the other new templates goes up, but I don't want to do it before that to avoid confusion. Amandelen (talk) 09:07, June 3, 2020 (UTC)

I don't think it's really possible to move those brackets while still retaining the same font and style. I've made the change you suggested by using a different display method. Amandelen (talk) 09:33, June 3, 2020 (UTC)

Recently, this page was created, with the section from "kore kurai" to "fuki" only having the romaji. If it's not too much trouble, could you check what I wrote to see if it makes sense, so that I'm not creating misinformation or confusion?

Sorry to bother you if you're busy. MeaningfulUsername (talk) 14:50, June 6, 2020 (UTC)

No bother. It seems plausible. Only you use 振る for salt etc., not 降る. Also some words with unusual kanji are normally written in hiragana like にんじん and おにぎり so I changed the most obscure ones. ElectricRaichu (talk) 03:12, June 7, 2020 (UTC)

akari Edit

I'm sorry for the confusion!

I checked 毒りんごの魔女 a while back, and when I did I figured I'd just fix the typos and small mistakes like you've pointed out once the lyrics got added, but I got distracted. My apologies! I think the WIP template was mistakenly removed because that user thought you didn't know the translation had already been checked, rather than that you were intending to fix some mistakes.

I'm pretty sure the translator is a native Japanese speaker who is fluent/near fluent in English; they've contacted me on Tumblr about some of their translations as they can't do so truly anonymously through the wiki. They seem to welcome corrections to their translations, so if you think those lines should be changed, feel free.

  • Personally, I agree with you that 楽しい would be better translated as "fun" or "pleasant."
  • I also agree that 毒りんご is "poison(ed) apple;" that was probably just a typo.
  • I think you might be right about verse 5, but it's difficult to tell. Still, I'm fine with whichever interpretation you prefer.

Violet330 (talk) 23:42, June 13, 2020 (UTC)

I think your interpretation makes a lot of sense. 欠けた is an interesting choice of word; missing, broken, or chipped could all be relevant meanings, and you're right that we then don't know if it's the star that's 欠けた or the star puzzle. I think "An incomplete star puzzle" is a great way to represent a lot of those possible meanings.

I think you're right about 弱さを埋めるように. I considered the definition "to make up for," though I ultimately didn't go with it as I haven't seen it enough to be certain of how to use it. I think the way you wove it into the translation works well.

Yours is a really beautiful interpretation! I bet that's the kind of message that Clean Tears is trying to convey.

The earliest I see is this one: if you mean vocaloid-wise, then it's len song from 5 years ago. I'm using Chrome, if it helps. But IDK if youtube's layout has auto-updated on me aside from the creator studio/upload-section.~Raine

PutinP Edit

The Blue Edit It's like one line, so yeah lol

That is a tricky line, but I think I managed to uncover what's going on! いる can also mean "stay," which I tend to forget about, and ずっといる seems to be a phrase that specifically indicates "stay" as opposed to "be." I think the line is something like "then my heart will always, always stay here/be here," in a sort of 'home is where the heart is' kind of sentiment.

I hope that helps!

シンクロナイズドローム (Synchronizedrome) Not sure if violet's last edit was the final approval and they forgot to remove the message but could you double check over this just in case?

I added the translation to the page, but Migu is the one who reviewed the translation and called for corrections. Migu hasn't edited it since then, so those corrections still haven't been made, and the WIP template should stay up until someone can go over it.

Niji no IrieEdit

I can definitely see what you mean. I'm still not very good at understanding songs by ear alone, but I'll give it a shot.

In the first section, I hear something more like 耳を澄ませども無く and then, 怖い/弱い日と沈む影, except 影 sounds like 時計 for some reason? But 影 seems to make more sense... It's difficult to hear, for certain.

In 暑く乾いた, I think 乾いた makes sense? I can't think of any other plausible word. Do you think the kanji for atsuku should be changed to 厚く? 影の波 sounds more like 断り or の終わり, but I can't see how that would fit into the song.

身体を sounds more like なのかも? Maybe 貴方の. ぽっかり might be ぽっかりだった or ぽっかりたかった.

That's probably altogether not very helpful, sorry >.< It would be nice if we could track down the official lyrics someday.

Violet330 (talk) 23:10, June 21, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Niji no IrieEdit

Sure! I'll take a look at it tomorrow. I'm a bit busy today so I don't have time right now. I'll message you again once I've looked over it. Amandelen (talk) 19:15, June 22, 2020 (UTC)

I've looked over it. I think 波 in 耳を澄ませど波も無く should be 何 instead. I also think "いたいくらい静かで" should be "こわいくらい静かで" instead. I'm pretty sure that the "ぽっかりだ" in "親指大にぽっかりだ青い地球" is not correct, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. I personally hear "ぽんたにかんたん" but I don't think that makes any sense. I'll try to listen to it again later to see if I can make out what Rin's saying. Amandelen (talk) 13:37, June 23, 2020 (UTC)
I listed to it some more, and "ぽっかりあいた" sounds like what Rin's saying to me too. It's very hard to make out, though. If you were planning on doing it anyway, I'd ask someone Japanese to check it as well to be certain. Amandelen (talk) 16:06, June 24, 2020 (UTC)

New Admin?Edit

This might be quite sudden, but I've been thinking about appointing a new admin for a while and have a certain user in mind. They've generally been doing a lot of admin-like work already and I think the community would benefit greatly from giving them more editing rights. I don't really want to tell you who it is unless you're okay with having another admin, so that's why I'm being a bit vague. Are you okay with having another admin on board? Amandelen (talk) 17:25, June 26, 2020 (UTC)

I was thinking of Violet330. You too? If you're thinking of another person, I wouldn't really mind having two new admins. Amandelen (talk) 08:21, June 27, 2020 (UTC)

I'm fine with making Raine an admin, too! But I wonder if she is more comfortable with something like content moderator given this thread. We can always ask her if she'd like to be an admin, though.

Maybe it's an idea that I reach out to Violet and you reach out to Raine? If they'd like to become an admin I could just make them one, and if they're not entirely comfortable with the title and want the input of other users we could make a forum thread about it maybe?

While we're on the topic, Violet recently asked me about Content Moderators and I was thinking of reaching out to MeaningfulUsername (and Raine, but that's beside the point) for that. Do you agree with that? Amandelen (talk) 09:21, June 27, 2020 (UTC)

White HappyEdit

Is it alright to link to HnY's translation when we have a new one up? If I understand correctly, MML's tackling some of the MARETU songs so that we don't have to promote HnY's translations against her wishes on those pages. I understand that HnY is a recommended and more experienced translator, but it seems to defeat the point of replacing the translation if we're still linking back to hers in the external links section.

Still, if you think it's better to keep the link to the old translation up, I'll accept that. Thank you for your consideration either way!

Violet330 (talk) 22:59, June 28, 2020 (UTC)

I understand. Honestly, I agree that her works are an invaluable resource, and it'd be a shame to remove them whenever it's not absolutely necessary. I assumed that any wiki-savvy users would know how to go into the page history to navigate back to a previous translation, since it's not like anyone on the wiki is capable of removing access to them entirely, but you're probably right that most visitors to the site are only casual browsers who may think that old translations have been lost forever once a new one's been added, and it would be to their benefit to provide a link.
Thank you for taking the time to explain your reasoning!

No problem. I've changed all page titles to just "Nebula", as that is what the producer goes by now (it could take a bit for that to show up in the category). Re: Disambiguations in English and RomajiEdit

I agree with having both Romaji title and English title disambiguations. I believe some disambiguations like that are present already, but it's entirely possible that many do not. I think "a Vocaloid song producer" is a clearer than "a Vocaloid producer", so I'll go over the disambiguation pages with my bot this month and fix that. I hope I'll be able to do that next week. Amandelen (talk) 14:07, July 1, 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for handling the situation! Sorry I couldn't be more present. I was too busy with work to squeeze in time for the wiki until now :(. I agree with the block. Violet has renamed どういうことなの!? (Dou Iu Koto Na No!?). エア is translated as "Airs" because that is the title on the video itself (see also the image). I agree that it's quite a weird transliteration for エア since "Air" seems more suitable, but for some reason HayakuP chose to write it as "Airs" so I personally think we should stick with it. 自殺志願者が余命191秒で見た憧憬 (Jisatsu Shigansha ga Yomei 191-byou de Mita Doukei)Edit

I think 誰もが孤独を恐れながら/憂いているんだろう is something like "And so we all, while fearing being alone, are anxious about it" though there's probably a better way to say it. Taking the previous line into context, the singer seems to be saying that everyone worries they could be easily replaced, even though we all fear the loneliness that comes with being cast aside.

It looks like 円周率3 might possibly refer to this, which appears to be an incident in which there was a huge misunderstanding over how to teach students to calculate with pi; apparently the guidelines were vague or confusing, and as a result some people thought they were supposed to equate pi with 3 instead of 3.14. So perhaps ねえ、いま教えて/円周率3で割れる輪廻を is "Hey, tell me now, how I can divide the circle of life by pi/into three parts" or something similar? I know 輪廻 is samsara, but I don't know how well that would work in the translation.

I can't help but think that if you have the circumference of 輪廻, then dividing by pi should get you the diameter...

Hello! I'm new here so I'm sorry if I am making mistakes... I have a little concern that I would like to talk about... I created a WiKi yesterday for a Vocaloid Song that I like (Yamiyo by nezuno and GUMI). However, I created it BEFORE creating my account, I knew that my adress IP will be visible at first but I thought that I could then hide it and replace it with my username when registering.. However, I registered and my adress IP remain visible... It concerns me and I can't do anything for it... So would it be possible to delete the WiKi that I created with it or to hide my adress IP from it? I will re-create the Wiki immediatly with my registered account and username... Thank you!

Regarding addition of English translations Edit

Hi, thanks for the welcome! I recently added an English translation (my own) to the Taisetsu na Koto page, but noticed that it had subsequently been removed by Maranaa, who mentioned that translations needed to be checked first in the comments. Since I'm new here, I'm not sure what the exact process of submitting/verifying English translations is, so I'd just like to confirm if simply editing a page to add English translations is fine, or if there's some other process that I should go through to submit them.

Asking for tips Edit

Hi ElectricRaichu! I hope you have a nice day.

I've finally read Sky Running of Reku, and found out that you've fixed my translation. I've realized that your version has better wording, better grammar, better everything. I've also realized how bad my original translation was haha.

May I ask you some tips to improve my future translations and lessen my mistakes? Like, how often do you check before uploading, or, what dictionary app do you use?

Re: Hatsune Miku Wiki URL changeEdit

Sure! It'll take some time (I have to write a script and since I have to go over all pages it'll take time to finish it), but I'll try to get to it before August. Amandelen (talk) 09:31, July 22, 2020 (UTC)

Just a quick update. I'm currently busy with running my bot to make the changes you proposed. I hope it'll finish today but it's possible it will take a bit longer due to the huge amount of pages that need to be processed. Amandelen (talk) 12:42, July 25, 2020 (UTC)

Floyd Edit

Maybe miku's just in the background? it's hard to distinguish since my ears aren't that vocally trained, i do hear a sublte diff but i'm not sure (i would believe miku is prolly in the chorus of the second one) And i think the 'autogenerated' by YT links take from whatever's posted on iTunes or so, so it might be whatever version's on that

Re: Can we use images from other fandom wikis?Edit

I believe you can re-use images from other fandom wikis if you mark them with the Wikimedia license ("I got this from Wikipedia or another Wikimedia project") and they're not marked as copyrighted on that website. Amandelen (talk) 08:08, July 25, 2020 (UTC)

There is a feature for it, but it takes some time to set up. Unless we're sure other images on that wiki will be used I'm not sure if it's worth setting up. Amandelen (talk) 08:28, July 25, 2020 (UTC)

Re: derivative or spin-off?Edit

I would personally classify that as a cover. To me changing a name in the lyrics is too little change to classify as a spin-off. Amandelen (talk) 16:29, July 28, 2020 (UTC)

Unregistered UserEdit

It's no problem!

I actually don't think we've seen this anonymous user before—they seem to be sticking to editing pages with translations by one specific translator, which I haven't known any other user to do. Still, I'll keep looking through their contributions whenever I see them around just to make sure everything looks good.

Producer subcategoriesEdit

I've recently finished my thesis (I'm still waiting for the evaluation but I'm quite confident I'll pass) so I'm planning on introducing the {{Producer}} and {{Translator}} templates soon. I've also thought about the producer subcategories and I think the idea I proposed before could work. To summarise, roles other than composer/music producer are divided into five subcategories (lyricist, arranger, tuner, visual artist, other) which are part of the producer's main category. The subcategories are only added to a page when the producer was not involved with composing the song (e.g. 愛の詩 (Ai no Uta) would not get the "Lamaze-P songs list/Lyrics" subcategory). If the producer is only involved in one of these subgroups and has never composed a song before (e.g. 83), a main category (83 songs list) which just contains that subcategory (83 songs list/Visuals) can be made. I've made five templates in preparation, one for each subcategory (Lyricist, Tuner, Arranger, Visuals, ProducerOthers). The templates automatically display a message about the subcategory. It also automatically adds categories like the {{ProdAlbums}} template does (except these templates do not require any input). If you're interested more information can be found on the template pages. Are you still on board with this change? Do you have any suggestions? Amandelen (talk) 11:50, August 2, 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for the input! The new templates I made only have to be pasted into the category and the template itself categorises and fills in everything, so I think/hope that it's easy enough to use (I can't make it any easier if I tried, honestly (;^ω^)). To clarify, in the example you provided (Kid did the music, Crystal-P the arrangement and Zankyou-P the lyrics), the page would get the producer categories "Kid-P songs list", "Crystal-P songs list/Arrangement", and "Zankyou-P songs list/Lyrics" (I'll be sure to include this example in the forum post I'm going to make as well). I think it's easier to link to the main categories for those producers in the songbox since the main category contains the subcategories. The names of the other subcategories are "/Visuals", "/Tuning", and "/Other". Do you have any other questions/suggestions? Amandelen (talk) 09:34, August 3, 2020 (UTC)

Deadball Edit does this template need to be downgraded?

Re: autogenerated video viewcountsEdit

Sure! If they're uploaded with permission from the producer and the producers get profits from them (like Rainy mentioned) it's okay to report the viewcounts by me. I do have some concerns, though. Should album-only songs which have auto-generated YouTube uploads still have the album-only songs category if we don't count auto-generated uploads as reprints anymore? Also, should we make a distinction between auto-generated uploads and uploads with permission from the producer (e.g. Magenetra's channel)? Amandelen (talk) 10:25, August 6, 2020 (UTC)

I'm fine with recording the views of auto-generated videos. I'll specify it in the guidelines. I do think we should have a clear policy on whether auto-generated YT uploads should negate the album-only status of songs (if we don't I think it'll get confusing for editors). The uploads are pulled from streaming services like Spotify I guess that would mean it does not negate the album-only status of a song?? What do you think? Amandelen (talk) 15:53, August 6, 2020 (UTC)

Thank you! In that case I'll specify that in the guidelines as well. Amandelen (talk) 08:55, August 7, 2020 (UTC)

Mousou zei Edit Can you check their edits?

Sorry to butt in, just wanted to let you know that I undid the edits already. The user put "readability" as their reason for changing "kanaetai" to "kana etai" and "omoimasen" to "omo imasen," so I assume they just wanted to break up the romaji to make it easier to read. Unfortunately, that is clearly completely incorrect romanization, so I rolled back the page immediately. If the user tries to edit again, I'll leave a message on their talk page.

Hitoribocchi to Kokoro no Mo to Edit Can you double check their title translation?

Hatsune Miku Wiki interprets it as hon, not moto, and the first verse talks about reading, so for now I've translated it as "book" rather than "origin". ElectricRaichu (talk) 04:57, August 10, 2020 (UTC)

It's getting late where I am, but I should be able to look through it sometime tomorrow, if that's alright.

Violet330 (talk) 01:42, August 12, 2020 (UTC)

It is now tomorrow, so I'll do my best.

I know 声がする is a more indirect expression, but do you prefer your translation to "I heard the voice..." in the first line?

Do you think "If these words are really so simple to convey/I wonder if this mist will clear up someday" for 簡単に伝わる言葉なら/この霧も晴れるのかな

I'd suggest "Within the cycling cycle of fate" for 廻る廻る運命のなか

Maybe "The words on my tongue" for 口にした言葉響いた? Only if you think the expression carries over well enough.

Do you think "Wandering round and round" would work for 巡り巡って? I worry that someone with less knowledge of Japanese would take "going round and round" too literally and take it to mean walking or turning around in circles like in Double Lariat, though I know that as a term 巡り巡って is really relevant to the themes of cyclical fate/life that you were talking about so I understand if you'd rather keep it that way.

I see what you mean about the cycle of time/life/fate being a big theme of this song, and I think you did a good job expressing that in the translation. I think the average reader should be able to pick up on it even without much knowledge of Japanese language or culture.

I hope my input's been helpful!

Hello! Just letting you know that I created a forum post at Thread:157792 about the upcoming migration from Forums to Discussions. Please check it out, and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them on the thread. ~tya @fandom 16:55, August 13, 2020 (UTC)

I probably should have asked this earlier, but do you think encoders (such as Sakky or kenji) should be listed as "/Visuals" or "/Other"? I've been putting them as the latter since that's how they're listed on VocaDB, but I'm not sure if working on the video, even if it's not the visual component of the video, pushes them into the former subcategory.

I'm very sorry for any trouble if it has to be switched over. MeaningfulUsername (talk) 21:35, August 15, 2020 (UTC)

Niru Kajitsu Edit For the 'let's surrender bloodily' line, it sounds like flower's saying something diff than 'chi'

I can barely make out any words at all in the sung lyrics so I can only go by the printed lyrics. My guess is that 有血 yuuketsu is a made up word meaning "bloodful" (i.e. bloody) as an opposite to the real word 無血 muketsu "bloodless" that appears earlier. hi ElectricRaichu~ if you don't mind would you point out more mistakes that i possibly made for my TL on "Confession"? :3 Hiraethie (talk) 10:46, August 24, 2020 (UTC)

aa thank you so much! this is very helpful! :D it's interesting to see it from that point of view :o i totally thought the other person left them and the singer is just looking back (thus the "walk forward", my bad XD)

for うまく喋れないままでただ過ぎてく。i changed the TL to "I still couldn't talk properly and days keep passes by"

and as for また何度でも思い出してしまうから。i changed it into "Since then I end up recalling it over and over again." and added "About those days..." to the line after that (i originally wanted to add "because of that promise" but that would mean i'm adding words that didn't exist)

please do tell me if these TL are wrong :o as for the others i've edited it according to your corrections! :D Hiraethie (talk) 07:50, August 25, 2020 (UTC)

thank you very very much for the extended correction! :D

for 4:1 i changed "What I want now is to forget all about it." to "Now, I just want to forget all about it,", since i want it to parallel to 10:1

for 4:5 i'll translate the ねえ as "alright?" instead, 'cause it sounds softer and match the song's tone

that's all that i changed from your correction :3 Hiraethie (talk) 02:54, August 26, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Yume no Melody and Unable to reply to a message.Edit

I've fixed the translator template and added more information about it to the song article guideline here. I must have forgotten to add it when I was updating the SAG. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything else.

Unfortunately sometimes fandom has these errors and there's not much to do about it except wait. You could try following the advice (Go back to the previous page, reload that page and then try again) they give but it doesn't always work. I've encountered the same problem and I haven't found a way to solve it yet. For now I've posted a slightly modified version of your comment to the page (here). If you'd rather comment yourself feel free to remove it and replace it with your comment once you're able to. Amandelen (talk) 09:26, August 25, 2020 (UTC)

I've looked into it a bit and found a thread with some more solutions. They include
  • The time between writing a comment and submitting it takes too long, so submitting immediately when you're done writing the comment could help (if you weren't already doing that).
  • Going into incognito mode can apparently help.
  • Try adding ?action=purge to your URL before starting to edit.
  • The problem might be caused by fandom cookies, so clearing them through your browser preferences could help.
  • If the above solutions don't work, contacting fandom is suggested.
Hopefully this list contains something that works. Amandelen (talk) 09:38, August 25, 2020 (UTC)

Into Piece Edit

Thanks so far! Edit

Sorry about the stupidity with "that and this," I just didn't know why it was in a different order than what I'm used to, I guess? (I know how English works. It's my first language... but sometimes I just have stupid moments... actually, many times XD [like my overuse of emoticons. I swear, do NOT take a shot whenever I use "XD")

Also, since I feel like explaining:

...sometimes I get confused about how the word "koto" works. I'm sorry.

And I'm also sorry for anything else stupid.

Part of me feels as if this may come off as sarcastic, so I'll clarify: it isn't

Oh yeah, also, forgot to say:

At the beginnings of lines, I capitalize the letters (on my Wattpad book, that is, when I post translaitons there). I use actual punctuation to separate the sentences. I think that caused some confusion on a few lines (since you pointed out that they were complete sentences when I already knew), so I wanted to clear that up. I don't actually do that when I add translations to pages, just in my Wattpad book.

MML!opinions!Fun!Chocolate! (talk) 04:20, September 2, 2020 (UTC)

Ok?  (if you meant to read more English literature (I literally just said it's my first language. I probably just didn't understand what you meant because I'm tired as heck right now but stilll-)

MML!opinions!Fun!Chocolate! (talk) 12:38, September 2, 2020 (UTC)

Corrected accordignly (...hoepfully I worded that right? I'm tired right now [...honeslty, I'm tired most of the time, but today I got up earlier than usual).

Also: I put the notes... mostly because it just feels right to me. That's just me.

Also: the thing about "heart-pounding" was that I used it... then forgot if it was a word or not. Sometimes my memory just likes to suck (mainly with names), so I looked it up to make sure, then I was just like "why not?" and put it as a note.

...things I do make more sense to me than to others.

I guess?

Anyway, thanks again!

I'll fix it now

MML!opinions!Fun!Chocolate! (talk) 03:44, September 7, 2020 (UTC)

I've fixed it! (went with the first interpretation to be consistent with the rest of the song).

Wondering: is my translation now of suitable quality to add to the page? (I can do it myself, I just need to know if I have approval. Mainly because if someone wants to make something like a music video to the song and doesn't want to go againt HnY's wishes then they can't include subs, and also because of how things like the "baguette" inuenndo aren't in HnY's translation [she thought it was bucket too).

MML!opinions!Fun!Chocolate! (talk) 03:48, September 7, 2020 (UTC)

K! Though I'll be completely honest and say that I learned the baguette thing because Violet330 said a comment pointed it out XD.
