Description
"The cyber jungle will fill your heart with song. The first song of the New Year and the new Karyuudo. If you follow me on Twitter you may have known that about a month ago I had a bit of a music-induced breakdown where I felt I was only trying to copy the big voca-producers in style and theme. This song culminated from that breakdown and it seems I really needed that moment to take a step back and look at myself. I hope you all look forward to new songs from me in the future, and perhaps some re-visits of old work, tweaked to perfection. Thematically I was inspired by ELO's 'Jungle', which is one of my favourite songs." |
Lyrics[]
Filled with a sense of fear and wonder,
looking around me I see,
organic metallic and thunder,
a lush, cyber jungle greets me.
I want to feel the beat of the jungle,
dance in a world of clashing vibrance,
hear the pulse resonate through my ears,
chaotic foliage thrives in defiance.
Then a lion greeted me and whispered,
(come and join us in a dance)
moving within nature's way,
(waltzing around in a trance)
a light shone in me and flickered,
(you are one within your soul)
a fire in me as I sway.
(let the music take a hold)
Joined by a fleet of android creatures,
(join us if you so desire)
adding to the disarray,
(join the ever-mighty choir)
whirling, twirling dance a feature,
(bringing joy to everyone)
of the ritual that they play.
(as we celebrate the sun)
As the sun rises through the trees,
we began our dear goodbyes,
never forgetting the warm breeze,
or the sight that was laid before my eyes.
