Description
This song is about a girl named Amy and her friend Kevin. Amy always was a loner, even as a child nobody really talked to her except if they needed something like a pencil or something. Then one day she met a boy named Kevin, and he was really nice to her and genuinely wanted to talk to her. This was a first for her, but she managed to become friends with the boy. They would do everything together. Skipping class, Spilling gossip to each other about what they heard, talking about how gay they are. Ya know, basic teenager stuff. He was the only person she could confide in about anything. Be it how she thought a cheerleader was hot, How she wanted to take cringey selfies, or why she is suicidal, he was always there for her helping her through it all. He had been through similar things and that's partly why they got to be such close friends. She never really talked about Kevin to her family because they didn't really care about her, and nobody at school really cared either, so she decided to keep him to herself. They were best friends. But one day, Kevin told her that his parents were moving and that he would be gone by the end of the month. She cried more frequently after that, more than she already did. Her parents grew concerned, peaple at school began asking if she was ok, her teachers talked to her after classes, but she never said a word because they never cared before, why would they now? Then, one night she was on the phone with Kevin and her mom walked in. She saw her on the phone, but then she looked at her desk and saw her phone was on the desk. Confused her mother asked who she was talking to, and she said Kevin. Her mother got closer and asked her if she could talk too, and when she gave her the phone, she saw it was an empty phone case. She confronted her about it the day after and Amy had a meltdown. She didn;t believe that he wasn't real because they talked so much. She went to their favorite hangout spot in the forest to talk to him, that's where she usually could find him. He was there as usual and she asked him if he was real, and when he didn't respond she broke down. He told her that she had been alone for so long that her brain made him as a sort of coping mechanism. This was too much for her to handle and after she could muster the energy to get up, she fled. Her mother didn't hear her come in that night so she called her to be sure she was safe. No answer. She began to panic, checking every room in the house. Finally, she approached Amy's room and found her hanging from the ceiling fan, tears stained to her face and pictures on her desk. The pictures are what Amy though was of her and Kevin, but they only showed her.
