Japanese | Romaji | English |
年輪の楔から解き放たれたことを知る | nenrin no kusabi kara tokihanatareta koto o shiru | I know that I was released from the bonds of growth. |
過去や未来や現在と人間が呼ぶものに意味などはない | kako ya mirai ya genzai to ningen ga yobu mono ni imi nado wa nai | There is no meaning to what humans call the past, present and future. |
(扉よ開け) | (tobira yo hirake) | (O door, open!) |
私はその先へ行く | watashi wa sono saki e iku | I will travel beyond. |
(扉よ開け) | (tobira yo hirake) | (O door, open!) |
鍵はこの手の中に | kagi wa kono te no naka ni | The key is in my hands. |
時間と空間を越えた深淵の世界に至り | jikan to kuukan o koeta shin’en no sekai ni itari | I crossed over time and space and arrived in the world of the abyss. |
地球原初の忘れられた情景が視覚を超えて迫る | chikyuu gensho no wasurerareta joukei ga shikaku o koete semaru | A forgotten spectacle from the Earth’s origin transcends my vision and draws near. |
(扉よ開け) | (tobira yo hirake) | (O door, open!) |
私はその先へ行く | watashi wa sono saki e iku | I will travel beyond. |
(扉よ開け) | (tobira yo hirake) | (O door, open!) |
踏みだそう | fumidasou | I will step forth. |
帷の彼方を窺わんとして境界を越ゆる者 | tobari no kanata o ukagawan to shite sakai o koyuru mono | Somebody crosses the boundary without peering through the Veil. |
記憶と迷妄の混沌の中に確かに感じた世界 | kioku to meimou no konton no naka ni tashika ni kanjita sekai | In the chaos of memories and illusions, I certainly felt that world. |
健全な夢の中には決して現れることのない | kenzen na yume no naka ni wa kesshite arawareru koto no nai | A grotesque being crawls around in a strange scene. |
奇怪な光景の中を異形の存在が這い回る | kikai na koukei no naka o igyou no sonzai ga haimawaru | It would never appear in a healthy dream. |
(扉よ開け) | (tobira yo hirake) | (O door, open!) |
私はその先へ行く | watashi wa sono saki e iku | I will travel beyond. |
(扉よ開け) | (tobira yo hirake) | (O door, open!) |
恐れるな | osoreru na | Do not fear. |
私は定められた形を喪って異界に溶ける | watashi wa sadamerareta katachi o ushinatte ikai ni tokeru | I part with my fixed form and melt into the underworld |
それでも私が私であるという実感だけはあるのだ | soredemo watashi ga watashi de aru to iu jikkan dake wa aru no da | yet the only thing I really feel is that I am myself. |
三次元に囚われた哀れな者達に告げるのだ | sanjigen ni torawareta aware na monotachi ni tsugeru no da | I will inform the pitiful ones imprisoned in three dimensions |
宇宙の真実を | uchuu no shinjitsu o | of the secrets of space. |
人間の語る物質世界はペテン師にすぎない | ningen no kataru busshitsu sekai wa petenshi ni suginai | The physical world spoken of by humans is nothing but a sham. |
幻こそ真理 | maboroshi koso shinri | Illusions themselves are the truth. |
全にして一、一にして全なるものよ | zen ni shite ichi, ichi ni shite zen naru mono yo | All is one, and one is all—such is my nature. |
何処にでも存在するが、何処にも居ない | doko ni demo sonzai suru ga, doko ni mo inai | I exist everywhere and yet nowhere. |
時間と呼ばれる概念に始まりも終わりもなく | jikan to yobareru gainen ni hajimari mo owari mo naku | There is neither beginning nor end to the concept known as time. |
そのものが幻 | sono mono ga maboroshi | The thing itself is an illusion. |
かつてあったもの、今あるもの | katsute atta mono, ima aru mono | Something that one existed, that exists now |
未来にあるであろうもの | mirai ni aru de arou mono | and may exist in the future |
同時に存在する | douji ni sonzai suru | all exist at the same time. |
求めた者のみに開く窮極の門 | motometa mono nomi ni hiraku kyuukyoku no mon | The Ultimate Gate will only open for the one who sought it. |
越えたその先に座するヨグ=ソトホート | koeta sono saki ni zasuru yogu sotohooto | After passing through, there sits Yog-Sothoth. |
有限の世界に縛られたまま生きる哀れな人 | yuugen no sekai ni shibarareta mama ikiru aware na hito | A pitiful person lives while restrained by this finite world. |
(虚空の門が開く、時間と距離を超える) | (kokuu no mon ga hiraku, jikan to kyori o koeru) | (The Void Gate opens, and I transcend time and distance.) |
物質を信仰したまま死ぬまできっと気付かないの | busshitsu o shinkou shita mama shinu made kitto kizukanai no | Maintaining faith in matter until they die, they will never notice. |
(目覚めたものを讃え、最果てへと誘う) | (mezameta mono o tatae, saihate e to izanau) | (I praise the awakened one and invite them to the furthest ends.) |
夢の中でだけ知っていた果てしなく遠い時代や | yume no naka de dake shitte ita hateshinaku tooi jidai ya | I exist in this distant, endless era that is only known of in dreams |
場所の全てに私は居るの | basho no subete ni watashi wa iru no | and in all places |
宇宙の果ての星にだって | uchuu no hate no hoshi ni datte | even on a star at the edge of space |
(銀河の果ての星にだって) | (ginga no hate no hoshi ni datte) | (even on a star at the edge of the Milky Way.) |
空の彼方、遠い未来、あらゆる形でお前はいる | sora no kanata, tooi mirai, arayuru katachi de omae wa iru | Across the sky and in the distant future, you exist in every form. |
(現世など幻 夜の夢こそ真) | (utsushiyo nado maboroshi yoru no yume koso makoto) | (Things like this transient world are illusions. Night dreams are truth.) |
海の底、太古の昔、あらゆる姿で私はいる | umi no soko, taiko no mukashi, arayuru sugata de watashi wa iru | In the ocean’s depths and in ancient times, I exist in every form. |
(精神の有無も問わず、有形無形も問わず) | (seishin no umu mo towazu, yuukei mukei mo towazu) | (Regardless of the presence of spirit, regardless of whether it’s tangible or intangible.) |
人間であれあらざるものであれ | ningen de are arazaru mono de are | One is human and something not human. |
自我の群れ全てが己 | jiga no mure subete ga onore[2] | In a group comprised of selves, one is all. |
ならば私は生きてみたい | naraba watashi wa ikite mitai | In that case, I will try and live |
時間を超えた己として | jikan o koeta onore to shite | as myself, one who has transcended time. |
(次元を超えた己として) | (jigen o koeta onore to shite) | (as myself, one who has transcended dimensions.) |
常識や摂理に冒された者は辿りつけやしない | joushiki ya setsuri ni okasareta mono wa tadori tsukeyashinai | Those afflicted by common sense and divine providence will never arrive. |
銀の鍵が導くままに己を夢幻の園へ | gin no kagi ga michibiku mama ni onore o mugen no sono e | Led by the silver key, travel to the garden of dreams. |
太陽の色は移ろい己の姿も変わり果て | taiyou no iro wa utsuroi onore no sugata mo kawarihate | The sun’s colour shifts, and one’s figure is completely changed. |
かつての記憶を留めたまま私は二つの次元に立つ | katsute no kioku o tameta mama watashi wa futatsu no jigen ni tatsu | Retaining my former memories, I stand in two dimensions. |
(もう一度あの世界へ) | (mou ichido ano sekai e) | (Once more, I head for that world.) |
あの世界へ | ano sekai e | I head for that world. |
悠久の時を夢幻の彼方の惑星で生き | yuukyuu no toki o mugen no kanata no wakusei de iki | I live for eternity in a distant wandering star of dreams. |
再びこの地球に舞い戻るだろう、無限の距離を超えて | futatabi kono chikyuu ni maimodoru darou, mugen no kyori o koete | Wondering whether I will come back to Earth, I transcend an infinite distance |
(もう一度あの世界へ) | (mou ichido ano sekai e) | (Once more, I head for that world.) |
あの世界へ | ano sekai e | I head for that world. |

Translation Notes
- ↑ This is another track by this artist based on Lovecraft’s works. This one isn’t named after a specific work, but seems to draw inspiration from "Through the Gates of the Silver Key."
- ↑ Note as well that two different versions of I (私 – watashi, and 己 – onore) are used throughout. Onore was primarily translated as ‘one’ to give it a different feel.
