Translation Notes

  1. トキメキ(tokimeki) is an onomatopoeic word for throbbing/beating. This one assumes more excitement. In this line, it would probably translate most similarly to something like: “Sweet Love, I’m so excited, just for this one night”.
  2. This line could be talking about the singer instead, but there’s not enough information to know for sure. Since she’s very willing in every other part of the song, this is probably not the case though.
  3. ドキドキ(dokidoki) is another onomatopoeic word throbbing/beating. This one assumes more nervousness, so this line would translate most similarly in English to: “Sweet Love, I’m so nervous, even now, don’t forget”.
