Translation Notes

  1. This song is written with not hiragana but katakana, which gives it an odd, otherworldly nature
  2. Multiple times they use the word "youkai akki" which sounds a bit more evil than simply "demon"
  3. As in wine cask. This was a tough tl, it might be an idiom/reference
  4. Reference to the Tongue-Cut Sparrow, a folk tale about jealousy. Also a reference to The Demon Child in the Mirror
