Technically, I haven't graduated yet. My graduation is tomorrow, but I turn in my Chromebook at the end of today. I just wanted to say thank you for an amazing four years. I did some stupid things, but I also met lots of wonderful people on this Wiki. I hope to see you all again soon if I'm able to access this account. Until then, goodbye! <3333

News and Announcements
We ask that, effective immediately, all editing to pages be frozen until the recent issue with lyrics removals has been sorted out.
We are very sorry for the trouble, but we cannot guarantee that any edits you make to pages past this point will not be deleted.
If you're not up to speed on the details, please see this post by me and this post by staff member Sannse. We also recommend you join our Discord if you haven't already, as we are discussing the issue there.
Please feel free to leave any further questions you might have below.
Just Updated
Recently, a Fandom staff member deleted the lyrics from four songs without warning on the grounds that the lyrics, and possibly all lyrics hosted here, were copyrighted. We have reason to believe that if a copyright claim was made to Fandom, it was spurious, and one of the producers of the songs with lyrics deleted confirmed with an editor that he did not request for his lyrics to be removed. I filed a support ticket with Fandom Support three days ago and have received no response. After being asked some questions directly and not answering, the staff member in question restored the lyrics “for the time being as [he] continue[s] to review this matter.”
We do not have reason to believe that the entire wiki will be deleted in the immediate future. If you have questions, feel free to leave them below and we’ll try to answer them to the best of our ability (which is little, given the aforementioned lack of communication from Fandom). But we heavily recommend you also join our Discord server in the sidebar, as we are discussing the matter there as well.

UPDATE: To quote the response to the support ticket I received from a different staff member:
"I'm sorry this has been such a worrying time for the wiki. We want to find the right path between letting you do what you do best, and keeping the site as clear as possible of copyright issues.
We've recently been reviewing some pages, and that has meant us removing lyrics on some pages. Basically if a page is selected for review, we have to remove any lyrics (or other content) that appears to be a copyright infringement.
But there is a path forward! It seems many of the artists you highlight are independent. So you may be able to get permission from them to feature their music. Then you can put a note on the pages that says something like 'lyrics used with permission', which will mean that we won't delete them.
For big music company lyrics, ie ones published by a actual music publisher, if we remove the lyrics, they would need to be replaced by a link to a licensed lyrics site - unless you could actually get the publisher to give you permission (very unlikely because they sell licenses to people who want to use their lyrics).
In both cases, we aren't hunting for violations, we just have to act if we are reviewing pages or images and come across them. And we aren't out to close the wiki, but this does mean that the wiki will need to change its methods somewhat.
I've talked this over with [original staff member], so we are in sync."
The list of Kaai Yuki song pages that I deleted recently reads as follows:
I sincerely apologize for deleting these hastily and unilaterally. I removed them because they all feature a voicebank voiced by a real person who is widely known to have been a child at the time being used to sing about definitely sexual topics. The combination of those two (the real child voice provider and the definitely sexual topics) is why they were removed; do not ask me or anyone else to delete such-and-such other page you find distasteful that does not meet both of those criteria.
To be clear, the reason I deleted those pages and the reason we are not hosting a page for Hiiragi Magnetite’s latest song which met both criteria is not because of the EULA for the Kaai Yuki voicebank in either Japanese or English. The pages are staying deleted/nonexistent because the administration team has discussed the subject and believes having them onsite does not serve our purposes as a wiki. If there is a very compelling reason any of these songs should have pages on the wiki, feel free to let us know, but it seems unlikely.
Regardless of the general impression I gathered that people did not want these songs on the wiki based on their reaction to Hiiragi Magnetite’s latest song, it was wrong of me not to put the topic up for discussion on the wiki first. We are opening up discussion on songs along these lines and will be listening to your opinions before considering deleting other pages on those specific grounds. If you have thoughts on whether other pages meeting those criteria (including those sung by OLIVER, Yun Quan, Lin Lai, Tsukuyomi Ai, and Tsukuyomi Shouta) should be or should not be deleted, please write them below. We are grateful to hear them.
(I personally apologize once more for not being more open with communication.)

I remember finding this wiki when I was still a freshman... now I'm going to be a senior soon... I'm so grateful for this community. I promise I'll try to be more active this summer!! <3
After neglecting the VLW page generators like a red-headed stepchild for almost a year now, I can finally release the newly revamped page generators:
Updated features:
Markup support for newer synths (incl. KAFU's SynthV/CeVIO voicebank, Teto's SynthV voicebank, and ASTERIAN)
For making Mandarin Chinese song pages: Added an option to add the (second) title in Simplified/Traditional Chinese script. The song generator tool will also give a link to the bilibili thumbnail when importing from VocaDB.
Massive overhaul for the lyrics input table: The table will now preview the colour and properly format the wikitext for easier editing. (For example, the table will hide anything inside <ref> tags, or format anything in italics or bold)
Bug-fixes and massive overhaul on the album generator tool.
When adding the tracklist to the album generator tool: You can simply copy-paste the URL of the song's wiki page on VLW to add that track automatically. This was a feature in the old version of the album generator tool, though it was buggy and I don't believe many people know about it.
When adding a song/album page to the producer's page discography: Similar to the album generator tool, you can simply copy paste the URL of the song/album's wiki page to add that entry automatically. With that being said, you should prolly be using the "Fetch discography from wiki" button to start with.
The site will now give a warning before you close the tab to prevent loss of data.
Known bugs:
When editing the tables, the site may "jump" up unexpectedly. This is annoying to deal with but does not make you lose data. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix this atm.
LINKS:
The old generators will still be hosted here.

Hello, everyone!
I should have mentioned this earlier, but there has been a slight change to the Song Article Guideline regarding the use of Questionable/Explicit warning templates. It's not major, but please keep in mind that if you're making a page with one of these templates or adding one of these templates to an existing page, it's more helpful for readers if you specify why you're applying the warning. For example:
{{Questionable|sexual themes}}
{{Explicit|gore}}
If you see a song you're familiar with that has a nonspecific Questionable/Explicit template, please edit it accordingly.
You can be flexible with what you put in there. For example, if you're not sure whether a song includes actual death or just heavy discussion of death, you can put something like {{Questionable|themes of death}}.
Please note that you should only apply these templates if you genuinely think the content in the lyrics and/or video has the possibility of causing distress to the average reader and/or "may be inappropriate for younger audiences." (Keep in mind that "younger audiences" is still 13+, in keeping with Fandom's TOU.) Small amounts of blood, extremely mild violence (such as punches outside of an abusive situation), and profanity (especially on the level of "damn" or "ass"), for example, do not warrant a Questionable template.
The templates should also only apply to content that is actually, provably in the song. There may be popular fan theories that a particular song is about a darker and/or suggestive topic, but if the topic is only present through that single interpretation of the lyrics/video, do not add a warning for it.
Please also note that a song being sad or having themes of mental illness does not automatically qualify it for either of these templates. Instead of "mental illness" or any particular mental illness in the parameter, please write what possibly triggering behavior (self-harm, disordered eating, etc.) is exhibited in the lyrics and/or video. If there is none, it doesn't need a warning for that.
Finally, if you're considering adding a Questionable or Explicit template but you can't think of any concrete reason for why it should be there—not even something like "disturbing imagery"—don't add it. Nonspecific Questionable and Explicit templates will be subject to deletion if no one can figure out their reasoning.

Hiya! Last year it was announced, and it is finally released to all logged in Users!
What is post history, you may ask? It is a new tool, in which if you see that a post has the "edited" tag on it, you can click the three vertical dots on the side of the post and see previous versions! This is to help with transparency, and to take a defensive stance to protect all users from any trickery that some may try to cause by editing their post. :)
This works for Discussions Posts, Message Wall Posts, and Article Comments!
If anyone would like to try it out on this post, look for the "post history" button in the three vertical dot menu and see if you can find what was changed! :D
As for the other announcement.....
Two Factor Authentication is now live, as well!
This is a new step we have taken to help y'all keep your accounts safe. It isn't automatic, though, so if you want to opt-in to it, definitely feel free to check out the blog post.
For all of you, I have linked both blog posts in the text above explaining further about it! If anyone has any questions, suggestions, or reports for glitches, definitely feel free to mention them below! Have a blessed day!
