I will admit that the song does sounds rather cute however the lyrics are where the problems lie. Following the story written out both Len and Piko were SA’ed. Watching the video and reading the lyrics it’s obvious that neither of the boys have consent to wearing the maid dresses or the bathing suits but we’re still forced. This is a bad example but I can’t think of how to word it.
Edit: unfortunately this song is one of Piko’s most popular songs.
@WhyHelloThere10 , I would like to clarify that it's not acceptable for anyone to harass you for any comments you've made via this platform. You are allowed to enjoy what songs you like regardless of the content of that song. Similarly, when we remove the lyrics to a song, that is not in an attempt to censor a producer or pass moral judgement on a topic, but rather a way to act in the best interests of our community.
If any user takes issue with something you've said, rather than respond directly to you, they should notify an administrator on the wiki. If anyone disagrees with an administrator's opinion, which can happen, they can file a request with FANDOM staff. A member of staff will take action if action is warranted per the site's TOS.
@Violet330 I deeply apologize. I had not been my intentions to come off as rude. I had simply been trying to help @WhyHelloThere10 out. As they have stated they did post about the song on the vocaloid fandom and received some pretty harsh backlash (someone said something along the lines of hitting them with a whiffle ball bat if I remember) I was not trying to cause a problem but rather explain what other people see when they think of the song. I understand if they wish to keep listening to the song as it does sound rather nice. I had just wanted to give an explanation as to why some people didn’t seem to enjoy their statements on the vocaloid fandom
I would say it is pretty underrated, and hey I'm not mad. I will admit that I love the music and melody of the song so I do listen to it from time to time. But of course I don't like the lyrics, video, and just the overall theme about a whole bunch of girls tryna crossdress two boys that hate it. But if you just ignore the lyrics and the overall meaning, I suppose it is a pretty cute song. The music does give me summer vibes lol
@BeautifullyDeadInside Oh I'm so sorry, I wasn't referring to you at all! From what I gathered from the original post, it sounded like WhyHelloThere10 had a rude interaction on another FANDOM site, which your response seems to have corroborated. I just wanted to let them know that, while I am not an admin on that wiki and thus can't directly take action in that situation, if that was indeed a case of other users harassing them for a comment they made that was simply them expressing appreciation for something they enjoyed, then that is not appropriate, and WhyHelloThere10 or any other user shouldn't feel like it's not okay to engage with certain songs just because of the themes that may be present in those songs.
In short, WhyHelloThere10, you did nothing wrong by posting your comment or by being unaware of the lyrics or popular interpretation of the song, but those who responded to you derisively definitely shouldn't have. If something similar happens here on this wiki, please feel free to let me know (or just flag the comment) and any inappropriate comments will be deleted.
What do you think?
